Field/COURSE Work

On this page you will find some details about my fieldwork and coursework from my internship and from my various wildlife classes.

In the summer of 2016 I completed an internship at the Marine Science Camps of New Jersey, I worked with a group of children, teaching them about marine science and marine conservation. The sessions took place weekly outdoors. It was always a great deal of fun exposing the youth to the idea that learning and classrooms can take place in different contexts, and not just in a building. The locations I worked at are Shelter Cove in Toms River, another location in Tuckerton, and a third location in Rumson. We had anywhere from 8 to 24 kids each week.

During my academic career, I completed a lot of course work that covered a variety of environmental topics. These courses include Environmental Science, Hereptology, Ichthyology, GIS, Evolution, Ecology, and Plant Diversity.
